Teen Ensuite Bathrooms

Project: Pink Cabana

Get ready for the exciting family bathroom spaces of Project Pink Cabana! These designs strike the perfect balance between individuality and coherence. Inspired by the luxurious marble and patterned tile of the primary bathroom, we incorporated similar elements while adding unique touches to each space. When designing bathrooms for a home, we want them to have their own personality while still looking like they belong under the same roof.  Let's dive in!

Girl’s Tween Space

Girls Tween Bathroom:

Designed to complement the elegant bedroom featured in our Elevated Family Home post, this bathroom combines tradition and playfulness. The cane and white wood vanity with a marble top adds a classic twist, while the fluted lamp shade sconces and traditional mirror enhance the overall charm. The vertical stacked zellige pink tile with a marble edge adds a modern flair, and the pink and green striped floor tile encapsulates the essence of Pink Cabana. Mixing shiny brass faucets, chrome shower fixtures, and brass-black sconces creates a layered look that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Boys Teen Space

Boys Teen Bathroom:

Our cool and impeccably designed teen bedroom extends its style to this bathroom. The standout feature is the stunning patterned tile adorning the vanity wall. Adding an off-set rattan pendant and half-moon hardware to the woven vanity elevates the design. We incorporated marble with square Carrera tiles, and a touch of masculinity with the black faucet and shower hardware. The shower, adorned with simple white 4" tiles, provides a soothing visual break.

Pool Bathroom:

For the final bathroom in this project, we present the refreshing pool bath. Inspired by the stripes found in the family room sitting chairs, this bathroom captures the essence of relaxation. With limited storage needs, we opted for a green sink paired with a brass wall-mounted faucet. The rattan mirror and mid-century sconces evoke a nostalgic tennis club vibe, reminiscent of the beloved Pink Cabana. To combat the water-intensive nature of pool baths, we adorned all the walls with white triangle tiles and plenty of hooks for towels. This bathroom truly feels like a vacation!

What are your thoughts? Would you dare to incorporate these patterned tiles into your own home? Personally, I adore the use of small doses of patterned tiles, particularly in kids' and family spaces.
