Elevated Family Space

Project: Pink Cabana

As promised, we return this week with a few more designs inspired by The Pink Cabana pallet. Last week we shared a living room, dining room and powder room perfect for any city space. Those spaces included contemporary, small-scale pieces perfect for homes where space is limited.

This week we take our same Pink Cabana inspiration and apply it to a family home concept. The living room furniture pieces are a little more relaxed and slightly muted, but still use touches of deep greens, soft pinks, and clean lined, textured furniture that makes this design oh so good. We’ve also created two bedrooms: One perfect for a teenage boy, the other made for a sweet tween girl.

The Living Room: A Serene Retreat

Step into a living room that effortlessly blends sophistication and relaxation. This space offers the ideal setting for lounging or indulging in TV. The carefully chosen sofa and chairs invite you to sink into their plush comfort, while a striking black chandelier serves as the focal point. Natural elements, like the black rattan sideboard, the wood-wrapped lamp, and the seagrass coffee table, add a touch of texture to the room. And let's not forget the captivating Slim Aarons photography, a subtle nod to the Pink Cabana palette. This living room exudes a charm that is simply irresistible.

A Teen Boy's Retreat: Where Coolness Meets Impeccable Design

Immerse yourself in a space designed for a tennis-loving teen who appreciates a sleek and cool ambiance. Adorning the ceiling with a captivating palm pattern adds a touch of adventure to the room. The walls can be kept light and bright or imbued with a moody darkness, offering a canvas for personal expression. One favorite is the curved accent chair perfect for gaming or focused homework sessions. The furnishings embody clean lines and simplicity, echoing the graceful curves. Stylish accessories, such as the domed lighting fixtures and tennis-inspired artwork, add an extra layer of appeal. The bedding, featuring neutral tones with layered oatmeal linen pillows and an olive striped pillow, creates a space that both teens and adults will love.

Tween Space: Subtle Elegance with a Playful Twist

A delightful room that combines the soft hues of pink and green from the Pink Cabana palette, capturing a sense of elegance and playfulness. This space is designed for a girl transitioning into her teenage years—offering a subtle girlish charm with elevated furnishings that any discerning teen would adore. The versatile desk serves as a space for homework or primping, adding practicality and style. Whimsical wavy lines adorn the bed and bench, infusing the room with a fresh and joyful ambiance, perfect for fostering creativity.
