Entryway Design Ideas
Let’s talk entryways! It’s the first thing people see when they walk into your home. A place to drop your keys, place a bowl of apples (ok, maybe that’s just me…but when you are low on space, a wood bowl with a heap of apples is sometimes the best spot ;) ), get your last look, display beautiful art work, etc. An entryway can set the tone for the house and it is an excellent space to make a statement.
If you’ve been following along you’ll notice the same pallet as our Beachside Design Inspiration post. Project Coquina - with its lovely natural elements, plaster backdrop, peachy-pink tile. The design elements bring major ‘I’m never leaving this spot’ vibes! We love it so much that we may have gone a little overboard with our inspired designs (more to come).
I’ve created two entryway designs based on the Coquina pallet. One is a little fun and playful. The other is a slightly paired back but with tons of texture. I’d love to know which one you prefer.
Concept 1- Fun and Playful
Concept 2- Paired Back
Comment below to let us know which design is your favorite. I’d love to hear what you think. If you missed our Amelia Island Mini Travel guide or our first Coquina Inspiration post you can check them out below. Oh, and if you are curious about those apples you can spy them below.
